WELCOME TO A DENIM AFFAIR!

We are so glad you came :)

So, even though we are a fairly new blog, many friends and family have asked us why 'we named our blog 'A Denim Affair'? 

Well, a couple of reasons. Jeans are comfortable, they are sexy, they are accessible, they can be anything you want them to be and they come in so many shapes and colours. Bottom line, we love jeans! The affair is not just with the denim itself, but with what it represents: denim has been a part of our culture for decades and decades and will be around for as far as we can see. Denim is for everyone everywhere, no restrictions, no rules. 

We come from a jewelry and make up background, the two of us love fashion and every outfit is an opportunity to express our style.  Whether we are staying home with the babes, off to work, or out for a night on the town, denim is just the go-to look we both love.

We run around a lot and have children hanging off of us most of the time, so we need to be comfortable. But there is no reason why we should compromise style for comfort and jeans is the perfect combo of exactly that.

Any occasion can be celebrated in jeans... well, almost any. But even I switched into my white jeans by the end of my wedding ;)

A sexy butt in jeans is a sexy butt. Period.

Whether it's blue, grey, black or white, high rise, low rise, bell bottom or skinny, ripped to shreds or slick and sprayed on, jeans are the everyday.  

Genius.
